Physics as a Career

In the Physics and Astronomy program at Kutztown University, we pride ourselves on fostering an open and friendly environment where the faculty is easily approachable and always ready to help.  We are completely dedicated to helping every student achieve his or her career goals with plenty of individual attention facilitated by small class sizes.  Undergraduate research is a strong component of the program; students are strongly encouraged to work with faculty members on high quality research being done at the university.

The Physics and Astronomy program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering all major courses of study necessary for an undergraduate degree in physics. But at the same time, the curriculum is very flexible, where students have options to choose programs and specific courses that fit with their career plans.

Kutztown also has one of the lowest tuition rates of the region (http://collegestats.org/) for a Bachelor’s degree, while maintaining a strong competitive edge manifest in the success of our graduates in a variety of careers.
